Requirements
• Experience in diagnosing, reproducing, and resolving customer issues • Desire to make customers successful through direct interaction • Knowledge of the core networking components of the main Cloud Providers • Familiarity with identity and authentication protocols, specifically SAML and OIDC • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC), such as Terraform • Proficiency with command-line tools like telnet, netcat, dig, nslookup, and traceroute to verify port connectivity and DNS resolution • WHAT GIVES YOU AN EDGE: • One of the following is enough: • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA) (https://aws.amazon.com/certification/certified-solutions-architect-associate/) • GCP Associate Cloud Engineer (https://cloud.google.com/learn/certification/cloud-engineer) • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/azure-administrator ) • READY TO BUILD WHAT'S NEXT? Responsibilities
• A typical week at Confluent in this role may involve: • Working with customers to resolve a wide range of issues with their Confluent deployments • Contributing to process development - we are a small team, so we are looking for people who want to help us lay the foundation for growing efficiently and with a best-in-class culture • Communicating with our engineering teams to provide real-time product feedback from the field • Improving product documentation and authoring knowledge base articles • Contribute to our internal labs to reproduce customer reported issues
