Requirements
• Strong experience with .NET for backend development • Experience building frontend applications using Angular • Working knowledge of Java with Spring Boot • Solid experience with SQL Server and relational database design • Experience with infrastructure as code tools, preferably Pulumi • Hands-on experience with Azure Pipelines for CI/CD • Experience with automated testing frameworks, particularly Cypress • Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional and client-facing teams • Proactive attitude and strong sense of ownership • Ability to work independently while aligning with team and project goals • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail • Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment • Experience working on data-intensive platforms or data management solutions • Exposure to cloud-native architectures and DevOps practices • Background working in distributed or client-facing teams • At Allata, we value differences.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain full stack applications using Java/.Net + Angular. • Design user interfaces with HTML5/CSS3 for desktop and mobile platforms. • Implement responsive design principles to ensure cross-platform compatibility. • Integrate frontend components seamlessly into backend services, ensuring smooth data flow between layers. • Optimize application performance by profiling code and identifying bottlenecks using tools like Chrome DevTools or Visual Studio Code Debugger Extension for AngularJS/Ionic Framework. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritize tasks in agile development cycles such as Scrum or Kanban methodologies. • Conduct code reviews using static analysis tools like SonarQube or ESLint for JavaScript/TypeScript components within the application stack. • Write unit tests with JUnit (Java) or Mocha and Chai (JavaScript/TypeScript), ensuring high test coverage to maintain robustness of applications under various scenarios, including edge cases. • Deploy code changes using continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitHub Actions for Java/.Net + Angular projects with automated testing pipelines in place. • Monitor application performance and user experience metrics through analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel to identify areas of improvement based on real usage data. • Troubleshoot issues reported by users, developers, or stakeholders using debugging tools like Eclipse IDE (Java) or Visual Studio Code Debugger Extension for AngularJS/Ionic Framework and provide timely resolutions through effective communication channels such as Slack or Microsoft Teams. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends in software development practices by attending webinars, conferences, workshops, online courses, technical blogs, podcasts, newsletters, etc., to continuously enhance skills and knowledge base for full stack development using Java/.Net + Angular. • Document codebase with clear comments, inline documentation, README files, wiki pages or Confluence boards as per organizational standards while ensuring maintainability of the application's architecture over time.
