Requirements
• Excellent English and communication skills • Proven professional experience as a Backend or Full Stack Engineer (purely frontend profiles will not be considered). • Mandatory and demonstrable experience with WhatsApp API integrations in previous professional projects. • Strong proficiency in building and deploying production-grade applications with a focus on maintainability. • Ability to write clean, efficient code and document logic for long-term scalability. • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a high-growth, fast-paced setting. • Strong experience with Python for backend development. • Previous experience in startups or fast-paced environments where speed and quality must be balanced. • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
• WhatsApp Integration: Lead the implementation and maintenance of robust WhatsApp API functionalities to ensure reliable communication flows. • Productionizing Experiments: Take validated "MVP of the MVP" concepts and transform them into stable, scalable, and well-documented features within the main platform. • Core Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services that serve as the foundation of our product. • Engineering Collaboration: Work side-by-side with the experimentation team and the Director of Engineering to align technical hand-overs with product goals. • Quality Assurance: Ensure all new features meet rigorous standards through testing, code reviews, and adherence to software engineering best practices.
