Requirements
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering. • Strong proficiency in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and React.js. • Solid understanding of full stack development and modern SDLC practices. • Experience with system design and architecture, focusing on maintainability. • Knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL). • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). • Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL, and MVC architecture. • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (Docker, CircleCI, GitHub Actions). • Awareness of security best practices. • Proficiency with Git and workflows such as GitFlow. • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal – C1 level). • Experience in consumer credit, lending, loans, or insurance domains.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain full stack applications using Ruby on Rails for backend services and React for frontend development. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals. • Implement best practices in software design, architecture, coding standards, testing (unit tests, integration tests), security measures, and performance optimization within the team's codebase. • Troubleshoot issues related to application functionality or user experience by analyzing logs/error reports, conducting root cause analysis, identifying potential solutions, implementing fixes in a timely manner while ensuring minimal impact on users during peak hours of usage (if applicable). • Participate actively within team meetings and discussions regarding project planning strategies such as sprints or releases; provide input based upon experience/knowledge when needed. • Mentor junior engineers by sharing knowledge about best practices in software development, architectural design patterns etc., while also providing guidance on career progression paths available within Ubiminds (if applicable).
