Requirements
• 7+ years in software development, with at least 3 years leading teams • Proven record of shipping software to large enterprise customers • Experience contributing to or leading open source projects • Deep technical foundation in: • Kubernetes & containers • At least one major public cloud (e.g. AWS, GCP, or Azure) • IP networking & HTTP fundamentals • Backend: Go, Postgres, GCP, Kubernetes, gRPC • Frontend: Typescript, React, Vite • IDE Extensions: Typescript, Kotlin • Observability: Prometheus, Grafana • CI/CD: GitHub Actions • General: GitHub, Slack, Discord, Notion • (Tacos? If you need an ice-breaker, ask how we say thanks by giving tacos!) • Significant professional experience with our tech stack • Prior work on developer tooling • Public open source contributions • You still carve out time to code, at work or on passion projects
Responsibilities
• Lead, coach, and grow a tight‑knit squad of engineers • Translate product vision into clear technical roadmaps; drive execution end‑to‑end • Hold a high bar for code quality, security, and performance; instill best practices • Collaborate across Product, Design, and GTM to prioritise impact over output • Remain hands‑on by reviewing PRs, debugging prod issues, and prototyping proof‑of‑concept
