Requirements
• 2+ years of experience with managing software releases • 2+ years of experience managing technical projects • Bachelor’s Degree • Experience working within the context of Software Development Lifecycle • Good understanding of system architecture and design principles • Quality Assurance, validating quality of software • Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze source code for understanding system behavior and requirements • We prefer: • Technical Program Management experience • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and workflows • Expertise in computer programming • Understanding and ability to perform as a Release Engineer • ((Remote jobs only - Please note that Waymo may not be able to employ remotely in all locations. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the role location or, if the role can be performed remote, the specific salary range for your preferred location, during the hiring process. • Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements. • $196,000—$248,000 USD
Responsibilities
• Ensure release tasks are followed and on track • Communicate and facilitate resolution of potential issues as they become aware of them • Continuously improve processes to ensure more efficient releases • Reporting directly to a Lead TPM in the role of Technical Program Manager for Waymo
