Requirements
• Proven experience in platform engineering, infrastructure management, or a similar role, with a history of successful project contributions and system enhancements. • Strong technical expertise in cloud services, networking, and/or database management. • Solid understanding of security protocols and operational best practices. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements, including ISO, SOC, or other relevant certifications. • Your Qualities: • Technical Expertise: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. • Detail-oriented: You’re committed to maintaining high standards of system reliability and security. • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Organized & precise: Ability to prepare clear and detailed documentation of systems and processes. • Collaboration:Strong ability to work collaboratively with different departments and stakeholders, fostering a team-oriented approach to problem-solving and project execution. • Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing technologies and methodologies, and flexibility to handle unexpected challenges and shifts in project priorities. • Infrastructure Management: • Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure, networking, and database systems to ensure high availability and performance. • Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard our systems against vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards. • Manage and refine CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and smooth software deployments. • Technical Contribution: • Develop and maintain Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting tools to support internal team operations and decision-making. • Debug and resolve complex technical issues, providing hands-on support for environment setup and system optimization. • Develop and maintain tools and processes to enhance system performance and reliability. • Collaboration and Support: • Work closely with software engineers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operational support for new features. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistent and reproducible development environments. • Participate in incident response efforts, helping to minimize downtime and ensure quick recovery from system disruptions. • Documentation and Compliance: • Create and maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes, and configurations to ensure accessibility and knowledge sharing within the team. • Perform regular audits and updates to ensure adherence to industry standards, such as ISO or SOC compliance. • Continuous Improvement: • Actively seek opportunities to innovate and improve the efficiency and security of our platform. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance our infrastructure and practices. • Work Assignment - Candidates will be given a work assignment prompt to complete a project that is relevant to the work they can expect in the role. You are given ample amount of time to complete this project before turning in. • Panel Interview - 1 hour interview with two to three key members of the team. This interview will dive deeper into the role, technical knowledge, and requirements of the position. You will also utilize this time to review any questions related to your work assignment. • Offer - The Talent Acquisition Team will reach out with the details of the offer to discuss with the candidate.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure, networking, and database systems to ensure high availability and performance. • Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard our systems against vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards. • Manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment processes. • Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc., in the development of platform applications. • Employ infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate provisioning and management tasks.
Benefits
• Compensation for this position is $90,000 annually with the potential to earn an additional 12% of base salary. • In addition, you’ll receive health/dental/vision insurance, and other benefits like a professional development budget, office food, and social events, not to mention being a part of a supportive and motivated Professional Services team. • This role is open to remote candidates located within the United States, with a preference for those in the EST or CST time zones. There is also an option to work from our headquarters in Gainesville, FL.
