Software Engineer

• Contribute towards the execution of complex projects • Help build and improve features in the Secure Compute platform that safely run customer and internal workloads. • Contribute to services that integrate Secure Compute with Apache Kafka and other core Confluent systems. • Learn and work with Kubernetes, containers, and serverless-style compute APIs in a real, large-scale cloud environment. • Collaborate with other engineers to design, implement, and review changes that benefit the Secure Compute team, Confluent, and our customers. • Pursued a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Math, or a related technical field with a graduation date between 2023- May 2026 • Self-motivated and able to drive projects with mentorship and project requirements • Ability to work effectively in teams and strong verbal and written communication skills • Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms and are proficient in at least one of these languages: Java/Scala, C, C++, Go • Smart, humble, and empathetic • Driven and excited about the challenges of a fast-paced, innovative, and quickly growing software development environment • Interested in building large-scale distributed systems in the cloud and are excited to make an impact • READY TO BUILD WHAT'S NEXT?
