Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Technology Discipline or equivalent industry experience. • 4-6 years of experience in IT program or project management role. • Previous experience leading a team with focus on Continuous Improvement and/or Industrial Engineering is preferred (not explicitly stated as required but highly desirable). • Experience with procurement, design, build, support of mechanical and automation systems and related technology integrations. • Solid subject matter expertise using technology-based distribution systems; experience with SanMar specific systems such as HighJump WMS preferred (not explicitly stated as required but highly desirable).
Responsibilities
• Supervise project team and their deliverables. • Provide day to day direction and insight for the project goals and deadlines. • Coach and develop project team members individually and as a group. • Manage tasks and projects related to Material Handling systems, Hardware/Media management, Storage, Capacity initiatives. • Research, analyze, troubleshoot SanMar handling systems understanding their operation and dependencies. • Identify and develop resource information for disaster response, strategic computing, information security, control etc. • Translate business requirements into high performing solutions that meet the needs of all stakeholders while ensuring best operational practices are followed. • Create detailed project plans and frameworks to ensure team members' milestones are met with regular reporting status updates. • Provide distribution system subject matter expertise for end users across various business areas. • Work closely with Technical/Delivery teams in identifying, designing, delivering changes to the SanMar environment systems ensuring alignment with functional requirements. • Collaborate with Distribution leadership and primary resources on strategic focus determination, task prioritization, long-term portfolio management for continuous improvement efforts.
Benefits
• Salary Range: You`ll earn between $120,000 - $160,000 annually, depending on experience. • Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary. • Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees are required to work in our offices Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional days may be added based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. Travel is a requirement of this role, up to 50% or more at times.
