Requirements
• Strong technical chops in full stack engineering with experience working on a similar platform to Grapevine's own system; specifically mentioned skills include messaging feature development and SQL query optimization. • Experience as an engineer leader within the team, setting standards for code quality while ensuring productivity without blockers among peers. • Familiarity with Postgres / Python / Django / Angular technologies used in Grapevine's stack; experience working on continuous deployment platforms like Heroku is a plus but not explicitly stated as required. • Experience of at least 10 years, given the team consists entirely of members who have over ten professional years of experience. • Willingness to work remotely and collaborate with founders in Argentina; demonstrated through Grapevine's remote working setup for its full stack engineers. • Experience or interest in leveraging AI tools, as the team is currently integrating these into their workflow to improve velocity and quality of code delivery.
Responsibilities
• Work on a new feature to improve user messaging through the site. • Optimize SQL queries to enhance report export performance. • Integrate our system with a new API to expand functionality. • Set standards for code quality and help team members be productive without being blocked by tasks or other impediments. • Define technical strategy in collaboration with founding team, contributing significantly to the engineering direction of Grapevine's platform partner role within Giving Circles movement.
